PM Rojgar Yojana Credits ₹5,000? Beware ! It’s a Scam; Here is why.

A Facebook page recently shared a Meta advertisement claiming that individuals can now avail of ₹5,000 through the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana. However, none of the official sources has announced any such benefit.

What is the claim?

A Meta ad that was active from December 12, 2025, to December 13, 2025 (currently inactive) showcased a video displaying the national emblem of India alongside Hindi text that translates to, “You can receive up to ₹5,000 through the Prime Minister’s Employment Scheme.”

The audio encourages viewers to click a link to avail the benefits. The page, Claimsome 15, initiated the Meta advertisement and shared the video in the advertisement as a reel on Facebook. It garnered 1,100 likes and 43 shares as of December 15.

Another Facebook page, रोजगार योजना (Rojgar Yojana), also ran the same advertisement from December 8 to December 10.

Although the ad is inactive now, it stayed active for eighteen hours. A user also shared the ad on December 8.

What did we find?

We examined both advertisements and discovered that they direct users to the same website at the domain “vintagevoguenation.club,” which features Lorem ipsum, a standard placeholder text frequently utilised in graphic design, publishing, and web development.

We identified that the domain “vintagevoguenation.club” was created on February 20, updated on October 21, and expires on February 20, 2026.

Additionally, using Hive Moderation’s AI detection tool, we discovered that the audio in the video is AI-generated.

Are Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana (PMRY) and Pradhan Mantri Mudhra Yojana (PMMY) providing any such benefits?

We explored the websites of the relevant government programmes and discovered no information regarding ₹5,000 being provided to beneficiaries. We also did not find any press release from official sources or credible media reports supporting the claim.

While the main objective of the PMRY scheme was to provide easy, subsidised financial assistance to educated unemployed youth for starting their own enterprises in manufacturing, business and service, and trade sectors, the PMMY aims to provide loans, classified as MUDRA loans, up to ₹20 lakh to non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises. These loans are given by commercial banks, RRBs, small finance banks, MFIs, and NBFCs.

The disclaimer on the PMMY website reads, “MUDRA Ltd., Mumbai does not sanction individual MUDRA loans and such loans can be availed from banks/NBFCs/MFIs. There are no agents or middlemen engaged by MUDRA for availing such loans. Borrowers are advised to keep away from persons posing as agents/facilitators of MUDRA/PMMY.” Thus, clarifying that any benefits from the scheme will be provided to citizens only through proper official channels.

During our analysis, we noticed that all these ads are offering a bait of ₹5,000 and could be a precursor to a bigger financial scam.
